I am 51 years old, married for the last 15 years with my husband Jörgen. Like many others, we have met each other through our great passion, The dog sports and the German shepherd dogs.
I have been a member of the Danish Shepherd Dog Club and the Danish Kennel Club for 30 years. I have worked with club and board activities in the Danish German Shepherd Club for many years. I have participated in dog shows and working trials throughout my whole “dog life”.
I been a judge since December 2005 and has since then judgeing many different dogs in all classes. It is through my work as a judge that i get new energy. I spend almost all my free time on dog training and judging assignments.
I have participated in Danish IPO3 Championships several times with my current dog and previous dogs.
Over the years I have judged both Danish Tracking Championship and Danish IPO3 Championship, I have also judged many local trials.
I have judged championships in countries such as Mexico, Norway, Estonia, Poland, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, England and the Czech Republic. The latest was the biggest merit because it was the FCI IPO3 World Championship and I am the first female judge who have received this honor.
I judged group B in FCI WC.
The weekend of 24-26 May 2019 is Schäferslaget. A competition that has been around for many years and which I have followed – but only from home. I know several Danish people who every year go to the competition as both visitors and participants.
Of course I am very happy and proud to be one of the judges at Schäferslaget to come and look forward to some good days on the field.
I will do my best to make sure we all get some great days together. I look forward to seeing some good dogs during these days and to be part of this event.
I would once again like to thank Sk Stjärnborg for inviting me to Sweden. At the same time, I would like to thank everybody who has made this event possible thanks to everyone involved and to the sponsors.
At last, I wish all participants great luck.
